Our work has adapted to reflect this, even our social lives, exercise, and of course psychological therapy and groups are available to you in this way.Further training to deliver online therapy and groups has been attended and it is proving to be a successful way of working together. Studies support this as an effective way of delivering psychological therapies (Chakrabati 2015).
This way of working allows you to access support when you need to, and it can fit easily and discreetly around your lifestyle. This makes it convenient and easy to access.Sessions are usually delivered through online video, but can be telephone or even talk and walk sessions (depending on your location). You can access this through your phone, computer or tablet.
Online Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
All 1:1 therapy is now available online, via an online platform. This has proven to be a successful way to access therapy for clients. Clients have told me that their experience is that there is still a strong relationship between therapist and client, yet it is very convenient for them.Therapy can be accessed when you need it, it can fit around your commitments, from wherever you are, anywhere in the world. Online Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), is focussed, effective and continues to provide strong results.
Online Mindfulness
The 8 week Mindfulness Group programme can be delivered online, adaptations have been made to this. It is now possible to access this from your own home or suitable place of your choice.
