Your Mental Health

A Whole life approach

Taking care of our mental health, often starts when we reach the point of difficulty or crisis. Our aim, is to support you, to offer early intervention and prevention if possible and effective treatment at a point of crisis.

It is important to note that 1 in 4 people will experience anxiety or depression. (WHO). Our mental health can slide into mental ill health in the same way we might catch a cold or flu, or develop an illness. Learning to notice this, understanding how to manage it and recover and heal, can allow us to continue to live the life we want.

Our treatment protocols are effective, it is not just about talking therapy, it is practical strategies that help. CBT is about helping you to have the insights and understanding of yourself in the context of your experience, while supporting you to become your own therapist. An investment in yourself for the future, allowing you to have a toolbox of understanding and strategies.

Initial stages of therapy tend to focus on compassion, understanding and practical strategies that can help, the first aid stage. Over time, we develop an understanding of you in the context of your life and experience. This understanding allows deeper insights and application of long lasting strategies and healing. The healing and recovery stage.

In addition to 1:1 therapy, support can include Bespoke Sessions, Mental Health workshops, Mental Health First Aid, along with Mindfulness programmes, and coaching.
